The government has decided that there won't be any subsidies anymore for electric cars in 2025. Are you thinking about electric driving? When you choose a new or second-hand electric ar this year, you can still benefit from the subsidy.
Private subsidies
Do you want to buy an electric car for private use? Apply for the Subsidy for Electric Passenger Cars for Private Individuals (SEPP). You can apply for this subsidy if you buy a new electric car or a used car. There are local subsidies available for your charging station or electric car as well. Check the website of your city or municipality for this.

- Environmental investment deduction (MIA)
- Random depreciation of environmental investments (VAMIL)
- Subsidy scheme for emission-free commercial vehicle (SEBA)
- Small projects investment credit (KIA)

Mandatory charging stations at business parks
From 2025, new rules apply for charging stations at business parks.
- Company buildings with more than 20 parking spaces need at least 1 charging station.
- 1 in 5 parking spots need a connector for a charging station.
- Are you going to rebuild a parking lot next to a company building? When you rebuild or increase 25% of the outside of your building, you need at least 1 charging station. This only applies when the costs aren't more than 7% of the total renovation costs.
