Hisense Mini-LED 65U6NQ (2024)

I recently had the chance to test the Hisense 50U6NQ television. The 55-inch screen size offers an excellent viewing experience, but the appearance of the TV, especially the legs, did not appeal to me. Although this TV is equipped with mini-LED technology and a 4K UHD resolution, the overall image quality disappointed me. The colors and brightness, despite the Quantum Dot technology, did not meet my expectations. The image refresh rate of 50Hz turned out not to be sufficient for me, especially when watching fast-moving images such as sports matches. In my opinion it is a great TV for this price range, but personally I would make a different choice.

Got to test this TV. Conclusion. Beautiful TV. Personally, I prefer Android TV instead of Vidaa. But I think that's the only downside. And that is also based on personal preference. Installing is super easy. It's just a matter of plugging it in and it already works. The advantage of Vidaa is that navigation is very easy and very clear. The image is very clear and the TV also responds very quickly. The sound is good. The TV is light in weight. You can hang it up or easily mount the legs underneath with two screws per leg. Super easy. I am pleasantly surprised with this beautiful TV with a crystal clear image

I was able to test the TV for about 2 weeks via Review.nl. At first I was reluctant to assemble and install the TV myself, but this turned out to be a piece of cake. Screw the legs under (can only be done one way) and put them down. After switching on, set the time and language and then you are actually ready and you can start watching. All the many apps are available as standard and others are easy to add yourself. The TV has sufficient connections (3 HDMI, 2 USB). The image is rock solid, beautiful colors and razor sharp thanks to the 4K UHD resolution and Quantum Dot technology. The difference with my old fullHD is as clear as the crow flies. The thousands of mini LEDs that can switch off individually increase the contrast and make black really black, which you only see with much more expensive OLED TVs. The image refresh is a bit on the low side at 50Hz, so there is sometimes some ghosting during fast action. All in all, a nice TV that offers value for money.
