VAT product | Yes | 21% | Yes |
2 different choices
On our website, you might see the same refurbished iPhone models for a different price. One is a margin product and the other a VAT product. As a business customer, it's wise to choose a VAT product as you can reclaim the VAT. Aren't you a business customer? Always choose the lowest price for the refurbished iPhone you want. We'll explain more per product below.
What's a margin product?
Part of the second-hand iPhone models we sell fall under the European margin scheme. These are devices purchased without VAT from individuals. That's why you can profit from a lower price as a non-business customer. You can also buy margin goods as a business customer, but that's often a less affordable choice. This is because you can't reclaim the VAT from the Dutch Tax Administration.
What's a VAT product
These are refurbished iPhone models that you pay the regular 21% VAT for on top of the retail price. You'll only see the amount of VAT on your invoice. As a business customer, you can reclaim your VAT from the Dutch Tax Administration. This often has a financial advantage. If you're not a business customer, you can also buy a VAT product. You can't reclaim the VAT, though. In this case, go for the lowest price you can get for the model you want.
