What's HP Instant Ink?
HP+ includes Instant Ink for a couple of months. Register within 7 days after setting up the printer to participate in this promotion. If your cartridge or toner cartridge is almost empty, your printer notifies HP. That way, you receive new ink or a new toner cartridge at home when you need it. After the trial period, you'll still save up to 70% on original HP ink and up to 50% on original toner cartridges. HP+ also makes your printer smarter. The cloud service from HP regularly checks your internet connection and solves problems automatically. It even defends your printer from malware attacks.
What are the advantages of HP+?
If you want to benefit from all the advantages of HP+, you need a personal HP account and your printer needs to be constantly connected to the internet. That way, the HP printer send a notification when your ink cartridge is almost empty. What's more, an HP+ printer only works with original HP ink cartridges. If you purchase or set up HP+, you accept these conditions.

The moment you choose to use HP+ differs per printer type. For a laser printer, you have to choose if you want HP+ when you purchase it. The printer includes the right software. With an inkjet printer, you make the definitive choice when you're setting up the printer. Based on your choice, the printer either installs the HP+ software or not.
Which printers are suitable for HP+?
At the moment, HP has only a small assortment for HP+. For the inkjet printers, the assortment consists of the DeskJet, ENVY, and OfficeJet series. HP+ isn't suitable for HP laser printers.
