What's FaceTime?
FaceTime is the audio and video call app from Apple you can contact your family and friends with, for example. The app is pre-installed on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac by default. You can use FaceTime with other people who have an Apple device as well. Want to talk to multiple people at the same time? Use FaceTime for that as well. You can easily have a group chat with up to 32 people. Keep in mind that you need to be connected to WiFi or mobile internet to use FaceTime.
Turn on FaceTime.

Go to 'Settings'.

Tap 'FaceTime'.

Slide the switch so it turns green.
FaceTime is often pre-installed and enabled on your Apple device. The app registers your phone number automatically, which is why you can also be reached in FaceTime via your phone number. It's possible that you have to turn on FaceTime yourself. You can do so with the following steps:
- Go to 'Settings.
- Scroll down and tap 'FaceTime'.
- Slide the switch to it turns green.
FaceTime is now enabled and ready for use.
How do you make a FaceTime call?

Enter a name and tap "FaceTime".
You can easily start a FaceTime call. Make sure the person you want to call has an Apple device with FaceTime installed and turned on.
- Open the FaceTime app and tap "New Facetime".
- Type the name, phone number, or email address of the other person.
- Tap "FaceTime" to make a video call or the phone icon to call without video.
How do you make a conference call in FaceTime?

Choose the names of the people you want to call via FaceTime.
Make a FaceTime conference call the same way you make a one-on-one call. All you have to do is add more people. You can add up to 32 people.
- Open the FaceTime app and tap "New FaceTime".
- Enter the name, phone number, or email address of the other person.
- Tap the name, phone number, or email address of the other person.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you've selected everyone you want to have a conference call with.
- Choose "FaceTime" to make a video call or tap the phone icon to call without video.
