What's Bosch i-DOS?

A Bosch i-DOS washing machine automatically doses the correct amount of detergent. Simply fill the drawer up to the 'max' line and have enough detergent and fabric softener for about 20 cycles. Sensors in your washing machine determine the soil level and how much laundry is in the drum. Bosch i-DOS adjusts the dosage accordingly. Prefer to dose manually? Do this via the cutout on the left side of the i-DOS covers.

An advantage of Bosch i-DOS is that your laundry looks good for longer. You always use exactly enough detergent, not too much and not too little. This way, your clothes will be clean and won't discolor. This makes i-DOS better for your laundry. In addition, your detergent lasts longer and you save both water and energy. Your Bosch washing machine needs fewer rinses to rinse out the detergent, because you dose correctly.

Most new Bosch i-DOS washing machines have an i-DOS 2.0 detergent drawer. That means you have an extra compartment for detergent. You can choose whether you use 2 different detergents, or 1 detergent and 1 fabric softener. For example, fill the drawer with detergent for colored and white laundry. With Bosch i-DOS 1.0, you have no extra compartment and you have to fill the drawer with 1 type of detergent and 1 fabric softener.
