What do you need to secure your home with Ubiquiti?
Ubiquiti IP cameras
Ubiquiti cameras are available in various price ranges. Every Ubiquiti security camera works via Power over Ethernet. PoE means that you provide power and data via the same Ethernet cable. You only have to connect 1 cable. You do need a PoE adapter or a switch with PoE for this. This isn't included. Do you only want to secure indoors? Choose the UVC-G3-FLEX. Choose the UVC G3 or G4 pro for large outdoor spaces, for example. You can connect the camera to your current UniFi security system.
Ubiquiti doorbell
A Ubiquiti doorbell is a smart camera and doorbell in 1. You can seamlessly integrate it with your UniFi security system. This UniFi doorbell starts recording in case of movement or when someone rings the doorbell. You can also talk directly to the visitors via the app. Use an NVR to store your footage, like those by Ubiquiti. You can connect doorbells to your current UniFi security system via WiFi. Connect the G4 doorbell on the wiring of your current doorbell.
Ubiquite UniFi
All devices in the Ubiquiti UniFi series work together seamlessly. This way, you can connect network devices together for a fast and secure WiFi network, to which you can connect cameras and doorbells. Store all your footage on a UniFi NVR. You often need extra storage. It's possible to manage all these devices from the same UniFi environment in the cloud. You do need some network knowledge for this. The management and setup runs via the app on your computer, smartphone, or tablet.
