Which PlayStation Plus subscriptions are there and what can you do with them?

PlayStation Plus is a subscription type for your PlayStation account. Since the summer of 2022, there are 3 different PlayStation Plus subscriptions. The more expensive the subscription, the more benefits you have. You can choose between a subscription of 3 or 12 months. To activate this subscription, you now have to first buy a prepaid card for the PlayStation. With a PlayStation Plus Extra subscription, you'll have the same benefits as an Essential subscription and access to a game catalogue with hundreds of games. Explore remastered old games or choose one of the many indie games. The games in this catalogue are regularly updated. A 12-month subscription for PlayStation Plus Extra costs € 99.99.

For real diehards, there's the PlayStation Plus Premium subscription. With this subscription, you'll receive everything you expect from PlayStation. You'll have the same options as the Extra subscription and demos of various games, a catalogue with the biggest gaming classics, and cloud streaming. This way, you can play your favorite PlayStation 1, 2, and 3 game on your PlayStation 5.
