Sometimes, it helps to perform a soft reset on your smartphone. That's the same as restarting it. Follow the steps below to do that.

1: press and hold the standby button and the volume down button at the same time. 2: release the button when the device turns off. 3: press and hold the standby button to turn the device back on.

Tip 2: update your smartphone

It could be that the camera isn't working because your smartphone doesn't have the latest software. Usually, you'll see a large notification in the setting menu if there's an update available. Don't see it? Go through the following steps and check whether there's an update available.

1: make sure that the device is charged up to 60% at least. If it's not, charge the phone. 2: go to 'Settings' by tapping the icon with the gearwheel. 3: scroll down and choose 'Software update'. 4: choose 'Download and install'. Your phone will now search for any available updates. 5: is there an update available? Tap 'Install now'.
