Tips for travel vlogging
Tip 1. Choose a suitable (action) camera
When it comes to a travel vlog, mobility plays an important role. You'll most likely be on the go a lot, so choose a camera that's easy to take with you. A tiltable screen is useful when recording vlogs. Do you want to be able to record in any situation? Even on your air mattress in the pool? A rain, dust, and shockproof (action) camera is a good idea.
Tip 2. Provide an extra battery
Can you already see yourself walking in a beautiful city, nature park, or between the palm trees on a white sandy beach? Nothing is as annoying as an empty battery just when you want to take a photo. Make sure you always have an extra charged battery with you so you can always continue.
Tip 3. Use multiple memory cards
Recording and photographing with multiple memory cards doesn't sound ideal, and it isn't. But believe me, anything is better than losing all your footage in one go. Losing a memory card while traveling is a common occurrence. So spread your images over several cards and store them in different places.
Tip 4. Bring accessories
To capture all your adventures, good accessories are indispensable. Do you use an action camera? You can use a mount to attach the camera to your body or helmet during various trips. Do you want to take a vlog camera with you when you travel? A mini tripod or selfie stick is handy for recording yourself and the surroundings, among other things.
