- Thanks to the IP68 certification, the earbuds are water-resistant, so that you can easily work out with them and walk through the rain.
- You're not bothered by ambient noise thanks to Active Noise Canceling.
- With Dolby audio, you listen to spatial audio so you're in the middle of your favorite music.
- The noise canceling of headphones is more powerful than that of earbuds.
First impression
When you unpack the Jabra Elite 75t, there is nothing special to see at first. For example, the earbuds come in the standard packaging that Jabra always uses for their earbuds, with the necessary accessories included. What does stand out to me is that the earbuds have become quite a lot smaller. Jabra says its more than 20% smaller and that is very positive. Aside from that, the charging case is also smaller, so you can bring it with you on a trip more easily.
Nice wearing comfort
When I put the earbuds in my ears, I notice the advantage of their small size right away. The earbuds don't stick out, so I don't feel like I'm putting a rocket that is about to take off in my ears. Aside from that, they're very lightweight, so I barely notice I'm wearing earbuds. And despite their light weight, they stay securely put in my ears. The only downside is that they only come with 3 sizes of ear tips. Size S is slightly too small for me and size M is too big.
Easy to connect
Like almost every other type of earbuds I've tested, connecting them to my smartphone is easy. When I unpack the earbuds, I put them in the charging case and take them back out again. Now, the earbuds quickly search for a connection with a playback device. Within just a few seconds, they've connected with my smartphone and I'm playing music. I did come across a short connection issue when I'd been listening to music for a long time. The sound from the left earbud dropped out for 1 second, but it came back on automatically right away. So basically, the connection does what it should do, it just dropped the ball once.
Lovely sound quality
What stood out to me right away with these earbuds from Jabra, is that the sound is very deep. This makes the music a lot more spacious and that sounds really good with some songs. The best thing about the sound quality of these earbuds is that, despite the spatial audio, the bass is pretty powerful as well. This way, it doesn't matter what kind of music I listen to, the earbuds will make it work.
Good app
To me, one of the most important things about earbuds is the app. Luckily, the Jabra Elite 75t earbuds support the Jabra Sound+ app. When you download this app, you can adjust all sorts of settings, including the sound. If you want more bass in your music, you select Bass booster in the app. The best part about this is that it really makes a difference. The music does have more bass. This way, you can set up the earbuds to your liking. Aside from that, you also download updates for the earbuds in the app, which are mostly aimed at making sure the earbuds establish a more stable connection.
Conclusion
The Jabra Elite 75t are very user-friendly earbuds that meet all the current criteria for fully wireless earbuds. The fit is pleasant, despite the limited sizes of ear tips included. When it comes to connection and sound quality, the earbuds have convinced me as well. Count in the app with extra options and you've got yourself high-end earbuds with the Jabra Elite 75t.
