Full frame sensor
With the Nikon D780, you can photograph in various light conditions. For example, you'll have enough light in dark situations thanks to the large sensor. This makes the camera suitable for videographers too. You can record in 6K resolution, after which images are being converted to 4K. This allows you to use the full size of 4K without cropping the video. You'll also have a large ISO range of 50 to up to 204,800. Thanks to this, you'll still see details with poor lighting.
Autofocus system
The Nikon D780 has 2 powerful autofocus systems. You'll have a fast, hybrid, AF system for live recording, and an AF system for taking photos through the viewfinder. You can switch between the different AF modes while taking photos. With live images, there are 273 autofocus points and eye detection. When you're taking photos through the viewfinder, you'll have 51 focus points with tracking functions. That way, you can switch to the group-field-AF-mode while looking through the viewfinder. With this mode, you can focus in a wide field of view.
Speed
Thanks to the advanced autofocus system, you'll also have speed. When you're taking photos through the viewfinder, you can capture images with 7 frames per second. When you take photos with the live view screen, you'll have a high speed of up to 12 frames per second. Thanks to the LCD touchscreen, you can easily focus on faces and the camera is easy to control too. As a result, you can capture specific motions accurately.
