How do you improve the DAB+ receptio of your DAB+ radio?
Better reception in 3 steps
With these 3 tips, you can improve the FM and DAB+ reception of your radio.
Step 1: slide out the antenna.
Step 2: move the radio.
Step 3: find stations.
Step 1: slide out the antenna completely
Does the radio have an antenna? Slide it out completely. It's important the antenna is upright before you slide it out. Once you have good reception, you can point the antenna into a different direction.
Step 2: find the right spot
Placement is very important for DAB+ radios. If you move the radio 1m, the signal already changes. Try the following:
-
Put the radio next to a window.
-
Keep potential interfering sources like LED lights, computers, or large metal surfaces away from the radio.
Don't hear a sound? You won't be able to save any stations. Have the radio look for stations again.
Step 3: find stations
Don't have a signal and don't hear a sound? If so, you won't be able to save any stations. Have the radio search for stations again.
