Calculation for the energy savings
You can save a lot on your energy costs with a new washing machine. We calculate the consumption based on 220 wash cycles per year. We'll use a price of € 0.30 per kWh. For example, your old washing machine has an A+++ energy label and a load capacity of 8kg. If you choose an A energy label, you'll save 97kWh per year on average. This means you'll save € 29.10 annually. After 10 years, you'll have saved about € 290. With an A+ energy label, it's even € 480 over its entire lifespan.
Higher load capacity: washes extra energy-efficiently
Choose a washing machine with a higher load capacity to save a lot extra, like 9 or 10kg. This allows you to put everything in the drum at once, so you can wash an entire load in one go. The load sensor will adjust the cycle accordingly if you don't have enough laundry to fill up the drum. That way, you don't have to worry about using too much energy.
Washing machine subscription
With a new, energy-efficient washing machine, you can save on your energy bill. Don't want to spend a lot of money right now? Choose a washing machine subscription. These machines always have an A or B energy label, which allows you to save up to € 48 on energy annually. Thanks to this, you can earn back part of the monthly costs and you'll always have a washing machine that works. If the machine breaks down, we'll exchange it for another one within 48 hours.
