How to store coffee beans
There's nothing better than a fresh cup of coffee. With these tips, you can enjoy this for as long as possible:

Tip 1: buy fresh coffee
Your coffee is the freshest if you roast it yourself. Of course, we don't assume you're going to do this. So buy roasted coffee where the roasting and best-before dates are listed on the package. Freshly roasted coffee isn't just the most delicious, it's also the best for your grinder.
Tip 2. choose an airtight packaging
In an airtight packaging, you can store your coffee beans for about 6 months. When you open a bag of coffee, a wonderful aroma spreads. But you lose part of the flavor at that moment. Once the coffee comes into contact with oxygen, the aging process of the coffee bean starts. So, we recommend you to finish the coffee beans within 4 weeks after opening the package. That way, you can continue to taste the best flavors. For ground coffee, this is 14 days maximum.
Tip 3. don't put too much coffee in the grinder
By putting small amounts of coffee beans in the grinder, you can drink fresh coffee as well. Many grinders aren't completely airtight or UV resistant. That way, you'll lose the right aromas and freshness of the coffee. Does your grinder or coffee machine have a completely airtight and UV resistant bean hopper? You don't have to worry about this.
Tip 4: store the beans in a clean place
Store your coffee beans in a clean and dark place, like a coffee bean storage container. If you keep your coffee away from air, moisture, heat, and other aromas, you're doing it right. This is also why you shouldn't choose a transparent container, but one that keeps out UV rays. You can place this container in a kitchen cabinet or next to your coffee machine. We don't recommend you to store your coffee beans in the fridge. That's because it's important to protect your (ground) coffee from moisture.
