How do you solve a connection issue with your DJI Pocket 2?
Update the firmware of the Pocket 2
If a gimbal fails to connect to your phone, the firmware could be outdated. It's important that you install the latest firmware. This'll prevent error messages and connection problems.
- Step 1. Charge the Pocket 2
- Step 2. Connect to the action camera
- Step 3. Install the firmware
Step 1: charge the Pocket 2
Make sure your Pocket 2 is at least 30% charged. This'll prevent the camera from failing during setup. While the battery is charging, connect your phone to the internet.
Step 2: connect to the camera
Once the camera is sufficiently charged, connect it to your phone. Next, open the DJI Mimo app. The app will indicate that a firmware update is available. Click on this notification to download the firmware.
Step 3: install the firmware
Once you've downloaded the firmware, you can begin the setup. By clicking install, you start the setup. The firmware update is finished when the green LED light is on. If you get an error message, try again. Can't complete the setup? Contact DJI.
