The Samsung Z Fold 5

- You can use this powerful device for the most demanding apps, 3D games, and multitasking.
- This device takes razor-sharp photos with the different cameras.
- The box doesn't include a charger, so you'll have to purchase it separately.
- This device is thicker and heavier than other smartphones.
First impression of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5
What I notice right away is that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 is a lot thinner than its predecessors. Thanks to the new hinge, the space between the screens is smaller when I fold the Fold 5. I can open and close the Fold 5 smoothly. The device feels sturdy, which I really like. The crease in the screen on the inside is visible, but it doesn't bother me. The screen on the outside is quite narrow.
Perfect for games and videos
On the large screen on the inside, I can comfortably watch series on Netflix and videos on YouTube. The videos don't cover the entire screen, but they're much larger than on a regular smartphone. Games are a lot bigger as well. This makes it a lot easier to play than on a regular device. In addition, many apps have been adjusted to the screen size of the Fold 5. As a result, you can easily read the news via your favorite app.
Multitask extremely fast
I have enough space to use up to 3 apps at the same time on the large screen. For example, I can open a link that someone sends me via WhatsApp without closing the chat. Thanks to the large screen, everything remains easy to read. I can easily drag one of my apps to a half of the screen via the taskbar. When I open or close my Fold 5, I can see the app I was using on the other screen right away. So I can quickly pick up where I left off.
Sharp photos and videos
-
With the wide-angle lens, you can easily photograph a group of buildings.
-
I can take razor-sharp photos with the 50-megapixel standard lens.
-
Thanks to the telephoto lens, I can zoom in 3 times without losing quality.
I can take razor-sharp photos with the cameras on the back of the Z Fold 5. Thanks to the wide-angle lens, I can easily take a photo of a large building like a football stadium. The telephoto lens allows me to zoom in 3 times without my photos becoming less sharp. My photos even look good in low light, thanks to the night mode.
Useful S Pen stylus
I can control my Samsung Fold 5 with the S Pen stylus that was included with my case. The S Pen isn't included with the Fold itself. I especially like the S Pen when editing photos and videos. I can do this a lot more accurately with the S Pen than with my fingers. For example, I can select where I want to cut my videos more precisely.
Reasonable battery life
The battery of my Z Fold 5 doesn't always last until the end of the day with average use. Sometimes, I have to charge the battery in the middle of the day. I can scroll through my social media, watch videos on YouTube, and listen to music on Spotify. I charge the battery with my old 25W fast charger. It takes about 30 minutes to charge the battery for up to 50%.
Conclusion
The Galaxy Z Fold 5 is a good choice for you if you like watching videos and multitasking. The foldable screen feels sturdy and the crease is visible, but doesn't bother me. This smartphone works very fast. I especially notice that I can multitask very smoothly, thanks to the large screen. In addition, I can take razor-sharp photos and videos with the cameras on the back. The battery always makes it to the end of the day.
