First impression of the Sony WH-CH720n
When I unbox the headphones, I notice the weight right away. The headphones are very light, which makes it feel less solid. When I put the headphones on my head, it feels like light yet sturdy headphones. Sony includes an audio and USB-C to USB-A charging cable. Unfortunately, Sony doesn't include a storage pouch. This makes it less easy to take the WH-CH720n with me.
Great wearing comfort
The headphones are light and feel sturdy on my head. The ear cushions close me off well from ambient noise. My glasses also stay in place when I wear the headphones. The headphones feel very tight on my head. This is convenient when I use them for physical activities, like a workout. The headphones stay firmly in place.
Adjustable audio a must-have
The manufacturer settings of these headphones ensure a relatively flat sound reproduction. Both the drum and bass don't come out well. Luckily, I can adjust the equalizer in the Sony Headphones App. This allows me to hear the bass better. Unfortunately, I notice that I can't immerse into the music completely. The sound reproduction isn't detailed enough for this. I recommend you to download the Sony Headphones app to get the most out of the headphones.
Noise canceling closes off well
In the Sony Headphones App, I can adjust the ambient noise to my liking. At a crowded office, I choose noise canceling when I want to focus on work. When I want to hear ambient noise, I choose ambient noise. The app offers 20 settings for noise. I don't hear my colleagues at a crowded office, so I can focus on my work. You can switch noise canceling on or off with the button on the ear cup

The sound reproduction is good enough if you don't value sound quality as much. I can't immerse into my music and I do miss details, but I still find the audio good enough. The bass is deep, which makes it suitable for rock music, for example.
