First impression of the QN95A
When I first look at the QN95A, I can directly see that this is Samsung's most equipped 4K TV of 2021. First, I only see one cable coming from the TV thanks to the Slim One Connect Box. The appearance of the box itself changed too, it looks even more stylish. The well-known One Remote has an extra function. Instead of replaceable batteries, the remote now has a panel that charges through sun or artificial light.
Bright colorful images
With a peak brightness of 2000 nits, the QN95A is supposed to be the brightest TV from the 4K Neo QLED series. And indeed, I notice that the bright parts of the image look very bright. Yet, this brightness doesn't come at the expense of the colors. Color details are very visible, so images look very realistic. For example, I can see subtle differences in orange tones with a close-up of an orange. The accurate color representation and high brightness really make the colors pop on the screen.
Powerful and realistic contrast
The biggest innovation of the Neo QLED TVs is the mini-LED backlight. This makes thousands of small LED lights dim when they're supposed to. That way, the dark parts of the image are extra dark and you'll see less of a glow around bright objects than with a normal LED-LCD TV. You'll still see a little glow around the flame of a burning candle, but the black around it is really deep black. This is mostly an advantage if you like to watch dark action or horror movies.
Wide viewing angle, only reflections with bright lights
Thanks to the Ultra Viewing Angle, the QN95A has a wide viewing angle. This means the image quality barely gets worse when I stand in front of the television at an angle. Only when I watch the screen all the way from the side, the colors become slightly duller. You barely notice this during daily use. Thanks to the anti-glare layer, your surrounds won't reflect in the screen. Just very bright lights pointed towards the television show a reflection.

Thanks to its minimalistic and universal appearance, the QN95A fits in every interior. The screen has very thin bezels and stands on a sturdy black stand. In addition, it only has 1 transparent cable coming from the TV thanks to the Slim One Connect box. This box has all the necessary inputs, like 4 HDMI 2.1 ports and USB. That way, you won't have all kinds of cables tangled up underneath your TV. This is especially useful if you want to hang the TV on the wall.
Spatial and rich sound
With 4 normal speakers, 2 speakers upwards, and 2 subwoofers, the QN95A provides a powerful and rich sound. This is especially noticeable when you watch action movies, for example. In addition, the TV has Object Tracking Sound+. With this technique, the sound follows the movement on the screen. For example, when I watch an image of lighting the stove, I hear the flames ignite in the same direction as I see on the image.
Versatile smart menu with free content
In terms of appearance, the Tizen smart menu hasn't changed much this year. I still view all apps in a clear overview at the bottom of the screen. The menu has a few new functions. For example, Samsung offers all kinds of free channels with movies, series, news, and sports on the Samsung TV Plus app. In addition, you can easily share the screen of your laptop, tablet, or smartphone with the PC on TV function. Thanks to this, you can use the TV as an extra monitor while working at home, for example. The webcam support makes it even easier to use the TV for working at home.

At first glance, the One Remote Control of the QN95A looks similar to the previous versions. The remote has few buttons, but is easy to control and comfortable to hold. There's one new fun change. On the back of the Solarcell One Remote Control, there's a panel that charges the remote with sun and artificial light. That way, you never have to replace the batteries of your remote. With one hour of charging, you can use the remote for a year. In addition, the One Remote Control is made of recycled materials.

The QN95A offers everything a movie, series, or game lover dreams of for a television. You can watch realistic smooth images with a high contrast and bright colors. The high brightness makes this TV especially suitable for watching TV in brightly lit rooms or during the day too. You won't be bothered by reflections as much. Even though the 8K TVs from Samsung have a couple more functions and provide a higher brightness, you're ensured of a complete listening en viewing experience with the QN95A.
