First impression of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7
I recognize the Watch 7 as a Samsung smartwatch right away. I tested the 40mm version and it fits well on my wrist. I have a small wrist with a 14cm circumference. I would replace the rubber strap with a nylon strap. They're more comfortable to me. With the touchscreen and the 2 buttons at the side, I can control the watch very easily. The colorful AMOLED screen is the biggest plus for me. This is one of the brightest screens I've seen on a smartwatch.
Measure your energy score
The Watch 7 has a new function, the Energy score. This score is based on several factors, such as my heart rate, stress level, daily activity, and how well I sleep. With this score, I know if I still have energy left for a workout or if it's better to take it easy. This means that I wear the watch when I sleep. It accurately measures my sleep phases and how much I sleep every night. This way, I can see exactly how often I wake up at night.
Short battery life
Samsung smartwatches always have a short battery life of 1 to 2 days. This Watch 7 has this as well. If I turn off my location and don't work out with the watch, I can last 2 days with the watch. If I've worked out, I charge the Watch 7 the same day, otherwise the watch is empty the next day. I get used to this, but a battery life that's 1 or 2 days longer would be great for me.
