With the steam wand, you can manually froth milk. You can use a cup or pitcher with milk for this. Because you froth the milk yourself, you decide how much milk you add to your coffee. You can also decide the temperature of the milk and the way you pour the milk into the cup.

The LatteGo system froths the milk for you. This system mixes milk and air at a high speed in the milk reservoir. It'll automatically add the milk foam to the cup. That way, the coffee machine determines the ratios for all the recipes, like a flat white or cafe au lait. Which preprogrammed coffee specialties you can choose differs per model.

Place a mug under the steam wand and flush the steam wand. You can then wipe off the steam wand with a clean damp cloth. Thoroughly clean the separate parts once a week. You can do this manually under the faucet or in the dishwasher.

After every milk specialty, select the 'quick milk clean' program. This rinses the milk system, so no milk rests stay behind in the machine. If the reservoir is still full of milk, you can easily store it in the fridge until the next time you make coffee. When the milk reservoir is empty, clean all the separate parts in the dishwasher or under the faucet.
