- Tip 3: clean with a fryer cleaner
Tip 1: clean with dish soap
Make some soapy water with warm water and some dish soap. It's best to use dish soap with lemon, because that degreases best and it smells nice. With this soapy water, you can use a soft sponge to clean the inner pan, the basket, the lid, and the exterior of your deep fryer. Are there many caked food rests? Let is soak for a while. Don't use an abrasive sponge to scrub, because there's a bigger risk you'll damage the deep fryer.
Tip 2: clean with a dishwasher tab
It's a lot easier to clean deep fryers that you can disassemble, because you can simply put the parts in the dishwasher with a dishwasher tab. Check the manual beforehand to be sure the parts are dishwasher-safe.
Tip 3: clean with a fryer cleaner
Do you want to clean your deep fryer easily, but do not want fumes in the house and do not you mind paying a little more for it? Then use a fryer cleaner. Fill the inner pan with warm water, add the recommended dose of fryer cleaner and let it work for about 15 minutes.
