From an ergonomic masterpiece to gaming mouse, there's a type of mouse for every usage situation. Every mouse also has a different size. From a mouse that's too big or too small, you'll get a cramps in your hand and maybe a sore wrist. To prevent that, it's important to choose the right size.

To choose the correct mouse size, it's important to know the size of your hand. This way, you'll know about how big the mouse has to be to use it comfortably.

  • Choose a small, medium-sized, or large mouse, depending on the size of your hand

To determine the mouse size that suits you, you have to measure your hand. Measure both the width and length. Measure the width of your hand from the palm, in the middle of your hand. To measure the length, begin at the start of your wrist and measure to the tip of your middle finger. To make is easier, we use large, average, and small for mouse sizes.

Choose a large mouse if you're hand is between 85 - 100mm wide and about 198 - 220mm long. These mouses are the largest in the assortment. The advantage of these mouses is that they're so big that your whole hand fits over the mouse. There's a lot of choice within the category. There are gaming mouses, wireless mouses for work, and even mouses with a trackball which you can operate with only your thumb.
