Samsung washing machines: innovation over the years

All Samsung washing machines have a hygienic steam cycle for an intensive cleaning. This removes all bacteria from your laundry and ensures you'll be less bothered by pet hairs and pollen. All Samsung washing machines have the AI Control technology. This allows you to set your washing preferences from your smartphone. If you want to keep your laundry in good condition for a long time, choose automatic detergent dosing.

QuickDrive promises to wash extra fast and extra energy-efficient. Samsung introduced this technology in 2018. With a QuickDrive washing machine, you can do laundry 2 times faster and consume 20% less energy. Thanks to the rotating plate in the back of the drum, you can do your laundry extra fast. A full drum is clean in 66 minutes, and a 5kg load is done in only 39 minutes.

To be able to add forgotten laundry to the drum, Samsung launched the AddWash door in 2016. This saves both time and energy. That's useful when your cycle is already running and you find your shirt next to your bed. If you add laundry via the AddWash door, you don't have to run a separate cycle. You can simply add laundry while the drum is running without pausing the wash cycle.

After EcoBubble, Samsung introduced the striking Crystal Blue door in 2014. The blue transparent design makes your Samsung washing machine a real eye-catcher. When light touches the water, it reflects on the door. As a result, your washing machine is a stylish addition to your interior. Thanks to the large opening, you can easily take your bedding out of the drum.

In 2021, Samsung released the EcoBubble technology. A Samsung EcoBubble washing machine spreads foam over your laundry. Thanks to the foam, you can already get rid of wine stains with temperatures from 15°C. This means you can wash at a low temperature and save energy at the same time. Nowadays, all Samsung washing machines have EcoBubble. This technology allows you to do laundry energy-efficiently, which is better for your laundry, for your energy bill, and for the environment.
