How many hands do you want to control the buggy with?

You can easily push a buggy with a continuous push bar forward with 1 hand. That's useful if you have another child holding your hand. In addition, you can collapse buggies with a continuous push bar with 1 push of the button. So you only need 1 hand to control the buggy.
Push and collapse with 2 hands
Buggies with 2 separate push bars require 2 hands to push them forward. If you push such a buggy with 1 hand, it may move to the left or right. In addition, you can collapse these buggies the way you would an umbrella. So you also need 2 hands for that.
Do you want the brake in the center or on the side?
The brake of a buggy is located either in the center of a bar or next to the rear wheel. Which option suits you better depends on the length and size of your steps.
