Solar Team Eindhoven

At Coolblue, we help customers to consume less energy. We also offer them solar panels, charging stations, and Coolblue Energy. We're extremely proud that we can now help the Solar Team Eindhoven on its way. The student team is building a mobile house this year to show everyone that you can live and drive on solar energy. We also see a future in that. That's why this collaboration is right up our alley.

The Solar Team Eindhoven is a student initiative of the Eindhoven University of Technology. In the past 4 editions, this team has won the world championship for solar cars. The 22-strong student team develops cars that don't consume energy, but actually generate it by using solar panels. This year, the Solar Team Eindhoven is building the world's first moving house on solar energy called Stella Vita. Stella Vita is a Self-sustaining House On Wheels. That means the solar panels on this moving house on wheels generate enough energy to drive, take a shower, charge a laptop, and make coffee.
