However, the device does take up quite a bit of space, partly because sufficient free space is required around it. It is noticeable that this zone is not always included when cleaning. When first used, the robot creates a map of the rooms. This is displayed in 3D, with each room being saved separately. This allows you to indicate which room it should vacuum, mop, or both. It is not possible to plan the next room in advance; it first returns to the station. There it parks backwards with precision. The dust is then sucked into the dust bag, which produces an audible sound. At the same time, the dirty mop water is drained and the mops are thoroughly cleaned and dried. Via the app you can easily indicate a specific area that needs to be cleaned, which is useful for small tasks. The brush protrudes slightly beyond the device, allowing it to reach a little further, although I notice that it does not always take the edges well. Mopping is done with little water, which is nice because the floor dries quickly and is passable again for people and animals. The mopping function works well on uneven tiled floors. It cleans the floor well and leaves no traces or edges.

I had high expectations of the AI robot vacuum cleaner. When I was allowed to test it for a few weeks, I was very curious about the object recognition. Unfortunately, that was disappointing quite quickly. Slanted chair legs and some lower protruding things (such as trash can pedal) are prey for it. With the app you can mark some places that should be avoided, but it is precisely those kinds of places where hairs remain. Too bad. The app itself is also a bit messy. If you want to control the vacuum cleaner yourself, you can, but only in monitoring mode, not vacuuming. There is also a delay in between, which makes it pretty useless.

The Samsung jetbot is a beautifully designed robot vacuum cleaner that vacuums well and is smart enough to leave its mops in its docking station. It cleans well, but my biggest complaint is that it does not use any cleaning agent. In the long term, despite steaming, the mops will still stink and the waste water tank in particular will grow. This does require some maintenance. It also has some handy functions, such as being able to use it as a security guard at home and having it drive around on patrol.
