Pros and cons

According to our electric toothbrush expert

  • With 2 brushing modes and 3 intensities, you can easily adjust the settings to your teeth and gums.
  • Thanks to the pressure sensor with a light signal and slowing down the brush, you can prevent damage to your teeth.
  • At 62,000 brushing movements per minute, this toothbrush cleans a lot more thoroughly than regular toothbrushes.
  • You can't connect the toothbrush to your smartphone, so you don't get feedback on your brushing behavior.

Description

With the Philips Sonicare 6100 Series HX7400/01 White, you can comfortably brush sensitive teeth and gums. It has a Sensitive brush head with soft bristles. You can also easily adjust the brushing mode to your teeth with 2 modes and 3 intensities. For example, you can choose a sensitive mode with a low intensity for more sensitive teeth. The pressure sensor protects your teeth and gums. It has a light signal and slows down the brush if you press too hard. The timer gives a signal after 2 minutes. That way, you always brush for enough time. Thanks to the BrushSync technology, the toothbrush indicates when the brush attachment has to be replaced

Super toothbrush

  • cleans well
  • Battery lasts a long time
  • Different modes
  • Light very bright

I think this is a very nice toothbrush. The battery lasts a very long time and also stays at full power until the last moment. I've been using it for 2 weeks now without charging and I don't notice that the battery is any less strong. There are different positions that you can choose yourself. If you brush too hard, you will receive a signal and you can brush less hard. This protects your gums. The only downside is the light on the toothbrush. The different positions give a light and that is quite bright. Especially when I brush my teeth in the evening and the light in the bathroom is dimmed, it is quite bright. Overall very satisfied with this toothbrush and I can recommend it to everyone.

Nice device for cleaner teeth

  • Different brushing modes and brushing intensities
  • Smart toothbrush
  • Battery life

I've had the Philips Sonicare electric toothbrush for 2 weeks now, and I'm very happy with this product. I had a Braun/Oral-B electric toothbrush before, and the new one from Philips is much quieter than my old Oral-B. It fits nicely and comfortably in the hand. The toothbrush has 3 brushing modes: Clean, White and Gum Care. I usually use the Clean, which is the default mode, and the Gum Care, which can be used with less intensity on your gums in the end. You can also adjust the intensity (3 intensities) for each brushing mode. I'm currently using the lowest one, I like this one. In the next few days I want to try medium and highest intensity as well. I also like the smart brush heads, which tell you when it's time for a new brush head based on how you use them. Very nice!!

Nice design and good cleaning performance

  • Polishing performance
  • Design
  • Battery life
  • No power adapter included

The toothbrush looks great and also performs great. You can't connect this toothbrush to a mobile phone, which doesn't bother me personally, even though I used to have a toothbrush that I could access the data from via an app. It's a shame that it doesn't come with a power adapter. But you probably have a USB 'block' lying around somewhere. In my opinion, the three modes are absolutely sufficient and it indicates when the battery is almost empty or it's time to use a new brush head. You don't need anything else!
