Description
Completely immerse yourself in your favorite movie or series with the TCL QD Mini-LED 50C803 (2023) + Soundbar Bundle. Thanks to the Quantum Dot technology, you can view images with a high brightness and rich, pure colors. The small color differences are clearly visible this way, like in the green of nature. Because of the Mini-LED local dimming, the dark parts of the image are really dark and the light parts are truly light. This ensures a high contrast and less gray glow around bright objects. The soundbar has an included wireless subwoofer, so you can hear the bass stronger. An explosion in a movie sounds more realistic this way. Thanks to True Dolby Atmos, the sound bounces via the ceiling and walls to your seat. You can actually hear the airplane from the movie flying above you.

First TV and soundbar, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. In terms of image, I am satisfied. A few settings under Dolby IQ had to be adjusted to prevent motion blur and vague artifacts, but fine result. All in all, I am not impressed with the sound from the Q75H. SD content (non-Dolby) sounds very mediocre. Apart from a bass and treble setting, there is not much you can play with. Personally, I think the sound sounds best on the film preset, with the rest on factory settings. Comparison material is lacking, so maybe I am exaggerating, but reviews of the premium TCL soundbars do not seem to be very good anywhere.
