WiiM Mini

Bought this device for my Z906 speaker set in the living room. Very small and compact. The only downsides are that this device does not yet support YouTube Music via Wiim Home. This will be added later according to the developer. A workaround for this is to use Airplay, which works with all apps. In addition, I miss the option to control the device via my Android TV, but these are minor negatives. The biggest drawback of this device is that only a USB-C cable is included and there is no 5V1A adapter. Optical, AUX and AUX to RCA cables are included. The Wiim Home app works great and can be set up very quickly according to your wishes. The app offers good equalizer functionalities to get the sound to the desired level. The Wiim Mini supports up to 24 Bit 192Khz. In addition, this device also offers options to play internet radio via TuneIn or vTuner. I mainly use this device for TIDAL Connect, which works flawlessly. A small downside to the packaging is that it emits a very unpleasant odor due to the protective foam that surrounds the device in the box. The price/quality ratio is okay and I recommend the Wiim Mini.

ideal device, can do everything I wanted, radio via tunein, music via Qobuz and also my own music from the NAS. I now have it via Bluetooth on a set of Google Nest speakers for the office, but there will be a permanent setup there. The Bluetooth function is of course also nice for listening with wireless earphones. In short, a nice device for little money.

Great product, but strange that you still have to look for a power adapter. Problems with an update, for which the helpdesk on the internet cannot provide a solution.
