Eufy Video Doorbell Dual 2 Pro + HomeBase 3

Great product, easy to install. I connected the bell wired but had to replace my old bell transformer so that the bell received enough voltage. That is easy to do yourself. The home base is easy to configure and because it has its own gong, this saves the purchase of an extra chime on the ground floor. I am happy that this product does not require a subscription. You can connect your own hard drive to the home base and thus expand the memory. The image quality is fine and good enough, but is disappointing for the current generation of cameras. For example, my phone takes sharper images. What I am not happy about is that the camera does not have continuous recording functionality. I would like to record 24/7 so that the driveway is always monitored, but the camera only starts filming when it detects movement and then makes video clips of a maximum of 2 minutes.

Had to search for a long time to make this work. Disconnect Homebase from power. Reset with paperclip (10 seconds). Scan Bel and Homebase again and set it up from scratch. Only then does the separate bell work. Quite cumbersome. The manual clearly falls short here.

Poor communication with doorbell. It is almost impossible to have a conversation with someone standing outside. Notifications only arrive after 25 seconds
