I remove the Switch from its dock and continue playing when my girlfriend wants to watch a series on TV. With the two separate controllers I play together with my travel group during a long train journey. The only drawback: after 3 hours the battery stops. All in one The ideal thing about the Switch is its flexibility. I play games like Mario Kart and Snipperclips on our big TV with my girlfriend. When my girlfriend prefers to watch a series on Netflix, I remove the Switch from the dock and continue playing Zelda on my own. I think this is the Switch's strongest point: I take it out of the dock and continue playing wherever I want. Whether I'm in bed or on the train. The Switch isn't heavy so I don't get stiff arms when playing in handheld mode. Two small controllers With the Switch you don't get 1, but 2 small controllers. Nintendo calls it Joy-Cons. When I'm gaming alone on the TV, I put them in the supplied grip. With this grip they turn into a 'big' controller like those of the PlayStation or Xbox. Anyone want to play with me? Then I take the Joy-Cons out of my grip again and we race together in Mario Kart. If I have my Switch with me on the train, I can also play together with a travel companion in this way. The cover on the back of the Switch ensures that it remains on the train table. Hours on the train fly by in no time. fun games I'm not hiding it: I love Nintendo games. Whether it's the big open world of Zelda or the colorful Mario's Odyssey. You can also play a lot of games from smaller publishers on the Switch. Think of Hollow Knight, Celeste or Stardew Valley. If you like these kinds of games like me, the Switch is ideal. But for graphically intense games such as GTA and Cyberpunk you really have to use the PlayStation or Xbox. The Switch simply cannot handle these games due to its limited power. Moderate battery life When I play in handheld mode, my Switch lasts an average of 3 to 5 hours. I generally don't notice this, because the Switch is always in the dock at home. This means I always have a full battery when I want to use the Switch as a handheld. If I take the Nintendo console with me on the road, the battery life is a limitation. I can still play games on the train journey, but halfway through the return journey, it cuts out. It is therefore recommended to take a charger or power bank with you on the way.
