Description

The TP-Link Tapo C225 is a compact IP camera that pans 360 degrees. You can use it indoors and set it up so it follows movement. This way, you never miss anything, even if it happens outside the direct vision of the camera. If the camera detects movement, you receive a notification on your phone. You can set up the camera so that an alarm goes off, which scares off the intruders. The app allows you to watch the Full HD images. Do you want to review images later? Insert an SD card into the security camera, or choose for paid cloud storage. The TP-Link Tapo C225 also has a physical privacy button. This puts a slider over the camera, so you can be sure no one is watching you.

Great camera, app is okay, connection with Synolgy is fine.

  • Simple installation.

Out of the box with the app, installation was a breeze. The camera was online in 5 minutes. Created an account in the settings for the connection with the Synology where I store the images. The image is razor sharp, the app is clear.

Great camera

  • Very easy to install
  • Very good image
  • Night vision beyond expectations
  • Like all cameras, it is not an art object

It is not large but gives a perfect image, also a notification quite quickly if someone comes into view. Haven't had a false report yet in a week! Silent as a mouse when it is turned, it is therefore not easily noticed.
