Description

With the GreenPan Craft Frying Pan Set 20 + 28cm, you get a nice set suitable to prepare various dishes. The 20cm pan is ideal for frying an egg or searing a piece of meat or fish. You can sear large pieces of meat and fish in the large 28cm pan. You get durably produced pans which last a long time. The pans have a PFAS-free ceramic non-stick coating. This means you need little butter or oil and you cook more healthily. Thanks to the straight sides of the pan, the baking surface is larger. This means you have more room in the pan. You get 2 useful pan protectors with this set. That allows you to stack the pans without damaging them.

Wonderfully beautiful and solid pan

  • Very well executed
  • Enjoy cooking with that raised edge
  • Does not cool down quickly
  • Bottom inside bulges slightly

Very pleasant to work with. The high weight (more than a kilo) may be a reason for some people not to buy this pan. The curvature of the bottom is not so handy, but only inconvenient when you fry an egg or a steak.

Good pans - but with a dangerous design flaw!

  • Does not burn
  • Tilts through heavy handle

Decent pans with one major drawback: The handle is too heavy for both the 24cm pan and the 28cm pan and is not in balance with the pan, making it very easy to tumble off the stove. Less of a problem with induction because of the flat surface, but almost impossible with gas stoves and actually even downright dangerous. Too bad, because otherwise a fine, sturdy pan with a good and scratch-resistant non-stick coating.
