With the Winix L500, you can humidify an area up to 50m² with warm or cold mist. Useful, because you can use the warm mist during the winter and cold mist during the summer. The water tank has a 7.5L capacity and is easy to fill under the faucet. To prevent the formation of bacteria in the water tank, this humidifier has an UV-C LED light. You can set the humidity between 40 and 60%, with steps of 5%. You'll receive 2 demineralization capsules with the L500 that reduce the chance on limescale due to hard water. Do you want the humidifier to turn off automatically? You can set the timer for this.
Note: a humidifier needs a few days to get the humidity on the right track. As a result, the water tank drains more quickly in the first days.

Tried out 4 humidifiers. Up to 140 euros. This is the best and the quietest. Save you further searching. You really don't hear this working, you want that, you don't get that to that extent with most others. Tank is huge and I measure the tank on 50% vapor for 3 days. It does not drip on the ground when removed. i.t.t. the Progenion also available here (spills too much). (See also my review there about the pr802uv type) Winix has cold and hot steam. The latter is if you can call 25 to 28 degrees warm. In addition, it takes 5 to 7 hours for the tank to warm up. With new filling, you have no difference between cold and lukewarm for a few hours. An issue? No, because cold steam also evaporates well. And is warm t worth power consumption? (Up to 75 watts and more with all types) pay attention to that too

I find the topfill system ideal because I don't have to tow 7.5 kg of water. Frequently replacing not cheap capsules is a disadvantage.

Nice device, not too big and really super quiet, brings and maintains humidity quickly and well (is on continuous mode here). Refilling is easy and not so often due to large content. Totally happy with it :)
