Philips GC362/80 Steam & Go Plus

As a very bored housewife who collects devices that usually don't help me, this is one that makes my easy-going and lazy heart very happy. I had to talk as a bridge man to convince my husband because our shed looks like we deal in all kinds of equipment and machines. I don't remember what I lied about but my husband agreed to another device.

I have this ridiculously expensive ironing machine thing that does its job very well. But when my carefully ironed clothes come out of the closet, they are often so crushed that they are wrinkled again. Then I have to pause Netflix, grab an ironing board, turn on a large ironing machine and drink a glass of wine. After ironing, put the whole mess back, drink wine and switch on Netflix again. With this Steam and Go Plus I put the plug in the socket during netflix and the thing is hot within 45 seconds and steams just as hard as my cigar smoking grandfather.

Wrinkles look nice and smooth and pretty fast! You are not allowed to use perfumed things, but if you spray this directly on the clothing and then steam, your clothing is fresh and smooth again. There is also a brush that you can click on the head for coats and heavier fabrics. I put a whole jumpsuit with long sleeves on one water filling and with a shirt I have water left over. I bought this Steam and Go Plus specifically because of the slightly longer cord and I understand it is slightly more powerful than the old version. This device is a joy and I just throw it in the suitcase when I travel. Additional joy is that my husband finds that thing so useful that he steams everything and I don't even have to ask for it ^_^

We bought the Steam & Go to quickly get clothes that are difficult to iron fresh and wrinkle-free. The result is not the same as ironing, but that was not the expectation either. The vast majority of creases are effectively removed from the clothing and the clothing is quickly refreshed. Still saves a few washes.

Unfortunately, the proper functioning of your device also has a disadvantage. Since we have the Steam & Go at home, my girlfriend has been going through the house like a Tasmanian Devil and steaming everything that is loose and stuck. First, all my shirts are steamed. Then she started working on her own dresses and everything that is made of silk. However, it didn't stop there. She even went to steam the couch, including all the pillows on it. As a result, I hardly saw my girlfriend all evening. Do quality time. I hope that tomorrow we can enjoy an evening together on the extremely fresh-smelling steamed couch, otherwise I will have to return the product.
