Description

With the Marmitek BoomBoom 460 music receiver, you can turn any pair of stereo speakers into a Bluetooth streamer. This amplifier is ideal for rooms that aren't large enough for a speaker set up but where you do want to enjoy HiFi sound quality. Connect it to a smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth. The amplifier transfer the music to the speakers via a cable. Thanks to aptX support, it can stream music without losing data. You can enjoy high quality because of this, which you can compare to the sound of a CD.

- The image on the site showed speaker connections for banana plugs. Instead, they turned out to be connections with springs. Vulnerable and not suitable for 2.5 mm speaker cable

Device tested, with sine 1000 Hz 8 volts continuously at 8 ohms = 8 Watts, unfortunately much less than the specified 20 Watts, so I ordered the boomboom 430 (= 2 X 40 Watts) With this fact, it is recommended if that power is not important.

Volume poorly adjustable

If CD player is connected, you need to turn off BT. Then the device starts flashing green/red like mad. If you do use BT, however, it will also blink 1x per second instead of 10x per second. In short, you have to work with stickers or something like that.
