When I saw the vacuum cleaner, I thought it was very beautiful. Using it is also nice! The high suction power was immediately noticeable upon first use. The buttons on the handle are very useful, but sometimes you can accidentally turn off the vacuum cleaner or set the setting higher or lower. The vacuum cleaner is manoeuvrable and that is nice. But sometimes it is too manoeuvrable, causing the vacuum cleaner to sort of 'fly away'. The vacuum cleaner adapts to the type of floor, for example if you need to vacuum the carpet, the suction power is automatically set to a lower setting. You can also adjust it manually. We are very satisfied with the vacuum cleaner and definitely recommend it for people with or without pets.

I mainly compare this vacuum cleaner with the Dyson DC48 Animalpro, given that it was the previous vacuum cleaner. It is striking - as often stated in the reviews - that the vacuum cleaner is quiet. Sometimes you really wonder if it is even on. Great that it can also be vacuumed with little noise. The Dyson had no problems with cat hair on the old couch, but on the current couch it was a workout session. With a lot of effort, the sofa was somewhat free of cat hair. This is a piece of cake with this AEG vacuum cleaner. This AEG vacuum cleaner is heavier and less manoeuvrable than the Dyson. The Dyson often fell over. I see both points more as "getting used to" rather than taking them very seriously. The long and flat cord is very nice, 1 socket per floor is sufficient and the doors easily go over the cord, without anything getting stuck, which happened with the Dyson. I also read somewhere that this vacuum cleaner would be inconvenient on stairs. I have a staircase with two curves and this vacuum cleaner fits perfectly in the vertical position, so I don't experience that awkwardness myself. Used it twice more, but vacuuming the sofa in particular is now a lot more pleasant and I also really like the fact that there is no more dust swirling around. Those are my main points, which made me choose this vacuum cleaner.

I have been using the vacuum cleaner for about 3 weeks now and am satisfied with it. The vacuum cleaner was heavier than expected but sucks very well. I did buy another vacuum cleaner head, which is especially suitable for hard floors. Personally, I think this is a much nicer vacuum cleaner than the large vacuum cleaner nozzle that came with it as standard. The vacuum cleaner is now much more manoeuvrable and can reach corners and under the sofa more easily. We have 2 cats and I must say that it sucks up the cat hair very well. The vacuum cleaner doesn't make much noise, my old vacuum cleaner made a lot more noise. What I also really like is the old vacuum cleaner nozzle light so that you can clearly see what you are sucking up and whether everything is gone. I also like that it is a vacuum cleaner with a bag, which is more hygienic and the vacuum cleaner is less likely to become clogged or very dirty. I am very happy with this vacuum cleaner
