Philips 5000 series HR3781/10

I am very satisfied, it does what it says it does. It's nice that you can mix batter with a motor and puree with the hand blender. It is ideal that all accessories can be neatly stored together and they are also easy to clean. What I like most is that the mixer can be placed upright if you want to add something extra or if you get distracted (e.g. children or the doorbell ringing) and you have to stop mixing for a while. You don't have to think about where to put the mixer. But you can just put it upright, you don't have to worry about the mixing bowl falling over because it doesn't have to lean, it stands on its own (just be careful that it can still drip, of course)

This mixer is not what I am looking for. I use a hand mixer several times a week, sometimes daily. There is a lot of baking, cooking and pureeing going on here. This one had exactly the beaters I needed. They are housed in a nice lid in the jug. I found it difficult to get them out because they are close together. I like to puree my soup with the immersion blender of my hand mixer, use dough hooks for "mashing" my stew and the regular hooks for baking, which is often done here at home. When I put the plug in the socket I notice that the cord is quite short and I cannot reach the pan. bummed... I also don't know how to turn it on the first time I use it. The wheel has no settings, you do that with the digital part, which seems redundant to me. It also makes a lot of noise. When I move the pan on the counter, I notice that the "handy" foot gets stuck behind the edge of the pan when I want to move around in the pan. Very inconvenient because you cannot stir the pan properly. Now you know why other mixers never have a foot like this. It just gets in the way. It's a nice mixer but that's about it.

This product is exactly what I expected - powerful, stylish and easy to store. The ease of use is top notch. I thought the chopper would be included, but that turned out not to be the case. You can get one for an extra €10. My mistake. Nevertheless, I am happy with the quality and reliability of Philips. It is highly recommended, although it is good to know that you have the option to purchase the product with a chopper for a small additional charge.
