Description

The Eufy security camera is an outdoor light and smart IP camera at the same time. This way, you always have a brightly lit image. In addition, 1 power cable is enough. You can set the light to almost 1 million different colors. The camera records in 2K image quality when the infrared sensors detect movement. You can also control it manually or set certain recording times. You can also easily connect the camera to smart assistants, such as Google Assistant or Alexa. You can use all the functions of this camera without subscription costs. It stores images locally. For extra storage, connect the light to a Eufy Homebase 3.

Very nice lamp and camera, but with some points of attention

Chosen because of the many possibilities and settings of the lamp. All kinds of colors and brightness possible. Time schedules and sensor work well. Only 2 downsides: when screwing the lamp on, a large gap remains at the top. Does not fit properly, which could easily allow water to enter. Had to use tape to make it waterproof. I have 2 of these lamps and this was the case with both lamps. Installation was otherwise simple, but that opening is really sloppy. The mounting screws are also very small. I had to hold them with tweezers. If you drop them, you lose them. Fortunately, there were 2 extra screws, which I also needed. Another downside/point for improvement: you can turn the lamp to the left or right, but I would prefer if it could also be aimed up or down. So it could also be hung horizontally. That is possible, but the (non-movable) camera then rotates.

I already have a video doorbell and it is connected to my home base 2. The wall light was easy to install and connect to my existing home base. Now everything is clearly visible in the eufy app. The lighting is extremely bright, but fortunately it can be adjusted.
