Even in the dark I still have a sharp image. I choose infrared image, which means the images are black and white at night. If you want color images, you can also turn on the built-in lights. The doorbell films a small part of the sidewalk in front of my house, so I set a privacy zone. This way I only receive notifications of movement in that zone. Thanks to the smart recognition, the doorbell knows the difference between people, animals, packages and vehicles, so I get very specific notifications. Because the doorbell has a large viewing angle, I also use it as a security camera for my front garden. I can see people from head to toe and most of my garden is also in view.
