GoPro HERO 11 Black + SD Card

You might wonder if GoPro can improve even more on the action camera, after so many models. I think so. It has a new sensor and creative shooting options for the dark. Thanks to the new sensor, my shots have an extra large angle of view with a ratio of 8:7. I easily crop these images, so I make standing videos for Instagram stories or TikTok. This makes the action camera not only suitable for sports enthusiasts, but also for online content creators. Renewed image sensor I just mentioned that the GoPro HERO 11 has a redesigned image sensor. As a result, the aspect ratio of my recordings is 8:7. This format is almost square and I can easily extract landscape or portrait images from it. For example, if I want to share my video on social media, I choose a portrait image. I also extract a landscape video from the same recording, for example for YouTube. I do all this without loss of image quality. It saves a lot of time and effort: skaters or snowboarders only have to perform a trick once. Various recording options I really like the new shooting modes. For example, I film in the dark in the city with Vehicle Lights and Light Painting. With this I include streaks of light in my videos that provide a creative effect. I easily set them up via the front and back screens, both of which have touchscreens. Are you not yet familiar with GoPro? Then it's just a matter of finding where the settings are exactly. But because of the low number of menus, I think you'll quickly master this. Longer runtime The HERO 11 comes with a new battery that lasts longer than the standard battery. This is a plus for this action camera. When you travel, you don't always have the opportunity to recharge your battery. Then the Enduro battery is a big advantage. This battery also lasts longer in cold conditions. Unfortunately I haven't been able to really test this myself yet, because it hasn't been extremely cold yet. Smooth Shooting Thanks to the image stabilization, I make smooth shots with the HERO 11. I think the images look like I'm filming with a gimbal. Even when I'm in motion, such as while walking, I hardly have any vibrations in my images. With the HorizonLock function I easily keep the horizon straight. This gives more peace in my images. During more extreme sports, I find that the images appear more spectacular when I turn off the HorizonLock. The image stabilization of the HERO 9 and 10 was also very good and I think the difference is quite small.

I like the GoPro 11 very much, mainly because of the possibility of the 10-bit color at 4K and 5K, the same format as the 9 and the 10 ensures that you can continue to use all the accessories purchased for these cameras and the possibility to film or photograph in a square format and then convert it afterwards into different formats for your social media and... again slightly better stabilization. Still, the new GoPro 11 won't be 'great' for everyone: those who don't care much for 10-bit colors, different formats for social media, a little better stabilization and a few other small novelties, is not really in need of an upgrade. to guess. Then look for a future model that can contain novelties that interest you more.
