  • The robot makes a lot of noise when it empties its dust cup.

Description

The Philips HomeRun 7000 Series Aqua XU7000/02 entirely cleans your floors for you. After vacuuming and mopping your floors, it also empties its dust cup. The automatic emptying station empties the robot in 30 seconds. The dirt enters the anti-allergy bag that stores 30 days worth of dirt. Thanks to the built-in sensors, the robot vacuum recognizes objects on the floor. This way, it drives around them and the robot doesn't get stuck. The robot can do this even with little light. Via the HomeRun robot app, you can set when and where your robot cleans. You can choose what the robot does per room. For example, it can clean your kitchen with a mop and vacuum the rug in your bedroom.

Handy cleaning aid that thoroughly cleans your floors

  • Useful app with instructions
  • Vacuums thoroughly
  • Nice design
  • Less useful for carpet

The Philips HomeRun 7000 Series Aqua XU7100/01 is a thorough cleaning aid with a beautiful design. It vacuums and mops your floors without you putting in any effort yourself. Design The first thing I notice is the design of the robot vacuum cleaner. I notice that attention has been paid to the appearance of the robot and the emptying station. I like the colors and the device has a luxurious look. So it doesn't look out of place in the house. Installation I download the Philips HomeRun app via a sticker in the lid. Handy, so I don't have to search for the right app myself. The app explains the installation and what I need to do before using the robot vacuum cleaner for the first time. First I place the emptying station, where the robot itself empties its dust container. It is also the charging station, where the robot goes when the battery is empty. I indicate via the app that the robot is making the first round. This way he immediately maps my house. I don't have to do anything else for this myself. Cleaning result When the robot does its rounds, I can clearly see it picking up dirt from the ground. Even if I deliberately put some dirt in the robot's path, it sucks it up without any problems. So no dirt remains after the robot drives past. You can see that the side brush is doing its job and also pulls the dirt from the baseboards into the robot vacuum cleaner. If I place an obstacle in front of the robot, it quickly recognizes it. He adjusts his route, but does so precisely. So I see that he carefully drives around the object, so that he cleans as much floor space as possible. So the sensors do their job well. Mopping function I am curious about the mopping function of this robot. He moves his mop back and forth, which makes it easier to sweep dirt from the floor. The water reservoir ensures that the mop stays wet. I think it's a shame that the robot can only be used with a mopping module. This means that he also drives over my carpet with this mop module. You can set no-go zones via the app so that the robot skips your carpet, but then it doesn't vacuum there either. So you don't vacuum and mop your entire house at once if there is carpet in the house.

good plunger bad mop

  • beautiful design
  • empty automatically
  • laser detection doesn't always hit everything
  • app is not really friendly put together

I've had 2 different brands now. mop function is simply not sufficient and does not grab the edges anyway. It works fine as a vacuum cleaner, but I would buy one without a mop function in the future. if you do want to mop, buy a separate mop robot for this. for a better mop result (not yet 100%) you have to have the space done in a y pattern and then at least 2x. however, the robot then takes quite a long time and does not make it in 1 full battery charge. then the robot has to charge for 2.5 hours to finish the job.

Very satisfied

  • Cleans well
  • Handy app
  • Beautiful design

Unzipped and downloaded the app. Instructions followed. All went very smoothly. The robot first makes a map of your house. That goes fast. Then he can get started. Went really smoothly. The app offers a lot of options to choose personal settings - I haven't been able to try them all yet. The first time, of course, followed the robot to see if it didn't get into trouble… but it went well. In the app you can see exactly where he has been. Very nice. It is not the cheapest robot vacuum cleaner, but on the other hand, it looks high-quality and I am confident that a Philips product will also do well. And so far it certainly has.
