Samsung HW-Q700C (2023)

The Samsung Q700C is an investment, but you get a lot of pleasure in return. I enjoy movies and series much more because of the full sound. Installation When unpacking, I found the soundbar to be on the heavy side. I found the subwoofer easy to lift and place. I can easily connect the soundbar to the television with the supplied HDMI cable and power cables. The power cables are quite short. So check carefully whether you have enough sockets near your television to place the soundbar under your television. When everything is connected, I find the soundbar and subwoofer easy to use. You can easily select the soundbar and subwoofer in the sound settings of your television. Sound The sound that comes out of the soundbar and subwoofer keeps me interested in watching movies and series. With a tinny television sound I sometimes go astray, but the full sound makes me completely absorbed. The Q-Symphony function provides a rounder sound. The sound of the television and soundbar together form 1 whole. If I'm sitting close to the TV, this is nice, because the sound doesn't come straight at me from just the soundbar. Usage There are control buttons on the soundbar if the batteries of your remote control are empty and you still want to watch a series on your Friday night. For convenience, you can operate the soundbar via the SmartThings App. I like that I can adjust the volume of the subwoofer separately. In music I like a good bass, so I turn it up a notch. When I watch a series, I turn the bass down because I don't think it fits well. I think a nice detail is that you see your current listening setting on the right side of the soundbar. For example, you will see a plus sign appear when you turn up the volume. Samsung compatible Coincidentally, I myself have a Samsung TV with which I connect the soundbar and subwoofer. I therefore use all functions. Unfortunately, Q-symphony, for example, is only possible with Samsung televisions that are not older than 2021. Connecting your soundbar to WiFi only works with Samsung televisions older than 2013.

I was able to purchase this soundbar as a second chance, according to the description it would include everything. However, the previous owners forgot to return the HDMI cable. Fortunately, I could also connect the speaker wirelessly via Bluetooth or WiFi. Since I have a Samsung TV, it was really just 'plug and play'. Immediately I started a video (for fans, Hunger Games is highly recommended!) But the sound really didn't disappoint me, you can really hear a difference with your TV speakers. Personally, I don't really see a difference between the soundbar and q-audio, but that could be just me. With the subwoofer you get the feeling that you are really in the cinema! All in all, highly recommended, especially if you can scrounge it up as a second chance!
