With the Tefal Renew+ Ceramic Frying Pan Set 24cm + 28cm, you'll get 2 environmentally-friendly frying pans. That's because the pans are made of 100% recycled aluminum. You can prepare potatoes in the small frying pan and use the large frying pan for large pieces of meat. Thanks to the strong ceramic coating, you can prepare food more healthily. So this coating is free of harmful chemicals. You can see at a glance when the pan has reached the right temperature. The Thermo-Signal dot becomes plain red when the pan is hot enough. That's useful, because you don't need to keep your hand above the pan anymore. Are you done cooking? Place the pans in the dishwasher.

If you want a flat pan that is not bulging upon arrival and before use, where your fat/oil runs into the outer edge and everything you try to fry also slides against the edges, then this pan is not for you. The same story with two pans, Tefal cannot say anything other than that it seems as if it should be that way. I will look for another brand that supplies a pan with a flat bottom.
