Description

With the Theragun Pro Gen 5 Black, you can deeply massage sore muscles to reduce soreness. This way, you can quickly move on to your next workout. With the 6 attachments, you can adjust the massage to a specific body part. Thanks to the flexible massage head, you can reach difficult places like your neck and shoulders. Via the Therabody app, you can adjust the settings and you get guidance during the massage. The massage gun is 20% more silent than the Pro Gen 4, but has the same amount of power. Thanks to the 30kg stall force and 16mm massage amplitude, you can massage deeply and with a lot of pressure. This is important for sports enthusiasts. The force meter shows how much pressure you're applying with your massage. You can choose from 4 massage settings with visual instructions via the built-in display. This way, you always massage properly.

A plus is that the pro is very powerful and you can exert good pressure with it, I never use the app, I rather work with it by feel. I use it professionally and some massage clients don't like the mechanical and prefer manual work, while other clients swear by it! Unfortunately mine broke after a few months; the closing mechanism of the battery did not hold the battery properly in place, so that the battery did not make contact. Sent back and Coolblue quickly sent a new one back, delivered with bicycle courier, neat service!

Happy with the Theragun Pro

  • It is a powerful (knock) massage device.
  • I've only been able to try it out for a week, but the device seems very sturdy and durable.
  • The extra soft attachment with which you can also massage your neck. With the other headlines, that would be too uncomfortable for me.

After long doubts about this purchase (whether as a non-athlete I really need the most expensive version of the Theragun), I have no regrets at all. I probably would have been fine with the other versions too; I can't judge that of course. I can only say that this Theragun (Pro) is super. So it is also a good device for the non-athletic 40-year-old (f), with knots and sore muscles due to desk work.
