The Solis Grind and Infuse Perfetta is a piston machine that you will enjoy for a long time. The device is made in such a way that you can use it as a beginner or advanced barista. It's user-friendly, sturdy and doesn't take up more space than necessary on your countertop. There are various barista tools in the box and with the bean grinder you can grind all your coffee beans coarsely or finely. User friendly If you follow the included user manual step by step, you will quickly learn how to use and maintain the coffee maker. It doesn't matter if you are advanced or a beginner. Just learning how to get the best flavor out of the coffee beans is another story. It makes it difficult for a beginner to know how to determine the grind size, grinding time, amount and pressure during coffee making. This is difficult to indicate in the supplied manual. Good size and sturdy The machine has a size that is not too big or too small. The construction material feels solid. In addition, it stays firmly in place when I screw the filter holder into the machine. Making coffee with the barista tools You get a good set of barista tools included, namely: a filter for 2 cups, filter for 1 cup, filter holder, tamper, milk jug and cleaning agents. Everything to get started right away. These tools are enough for you, I don't feel obliged to buy extra tools. Maybe just a knock box. Bean grinder with 25 settings The bean grinder grinds very carefully and without too much noise, so the bean grinder of my fully automatic machine makes more noise. The taste of the coffee changes immediately if I set the grinding degree 1 or 2 steps finer or coarser. I love the coffee flavor and have never been so close to the core of a coffee bean. Playing with the grind size and discovering new flavors gives a real barista feeling. Froth milk with the powerful steam wand The steam pipe is very powerful during foaming, but also during rinsing. This way it won't take long for the milk foam to reach the right temperature. Within seconds, the steam pipe is heated up and at the right temperature. It was not possible to froth the milk in one go, but after a few times of practice it worked well.

I have been using the Solis Perfetta for several weeks now. Before this I have always had a fully automatic espresso machine. I can say one thing and that is that I never want anything else. It is quite a job to adjust the grind size and throughput time, but once this is done you really have a fantastic cup of coffee. I've been using a fully automatic coffee maker for a while now, but somehow it just doesn't give the desired result. After a lot of searching finally bought this machine. The design of the machine is beautiful and looks exactly like the gigantic coffee machines from the Italian tents. The stainless steel also gives the machine a tough look. A small downside is that the machine is not exactly compact. If you have a small kitchen, you still have to consider whether this machine is suitable for you. With a weight of 10 kg, it is not really a lightweight either. A major disadvantage of fully automatic machines is that you often only have a small number of grinding settings. This machine has no less than 25 grinding settings. This way no one can complain that the coffee doesn't taste good. Of course this requires a number of trial sessions. Moreover, the grinding process is remarkably quiet! The bean storage container on top of the machine is quite spacious and it's fun to watch the grinding process. The control panel is simple. It's self-explanatory and while there aren't countless options, the options available deliver exactly what you need for a perfect cup of coffee. The meters on the front allow you to set the duration of the coffee grinding and the dripping process. The pressure gauge is not only a nice addition to the design, but is also functional. The milk foamer does what it should do and is also quite handy! This can be rotated 360 degrees, which makes pouring milk into the matching stainless steel milk cup a piece of cake. Small disadvantage: The milk foamer also serves as a water dispenser. In terms of maintenance, the machine is still quite simple. Descale and clean every now and then. It takes me less time and effort than I expected. Would I recommend the Solis Grind & Infuse Perfetta to you to buy? Of course! All in all I am very satisfied with the machine. It makes delicious coffee and the beautiful design and user-friendliness make it a fun machine to use. Also in the morning if you have a morning mood. It is a bit pricey but you get a lot of fun in return!
