I have had the Robot vacuum cleaner from Rowenta, series 50, for a few days now. My 1st impression is positive on some points, less positive on some points. The device is very easy to install. With the abbreviated user manual you have the device up and running within 5 minutes. The charging point of the vacuum cleaner must be placed in a fairly open space. This is very difficult in a small house. I do not have the requested space (free space of 1.5m on each side and 2m in the front). Fortunately, it is no problem for the vacuum cleaner if the space around the charging point is less spacious. The vacuum cleaner starts immediately, with just one button on your mobile phone or on the device itself. I see how the device is systematically cleaning the room. Unfortunately, it doesn't get into all corners, but it does clean about 85% of the floor. The robot vacuum cleaner also comes on the carpet, which is nice! I do find that the device makes a lot of noise. So I wouldn't turn it on if I'm in that room myself. The sound is very disturbing. The device also collides with the furniture quite hard. Apparently the sensors do not work optimally. Also, the device sometimes flips, at a point for which there is no reason to do so. The sensors do work well on the top floor, near the stairs. He recognizes the difference in height and stops at the stairs in time. The device gets stuck for several moments/indicates a malfunction. On the top floor, the device gets stuck in a corner. Between the cupboard and a shoe rack and the carpet, the device no longer finds a way out and continues to rotate in a small area, even though the device has gone to that place itself. The device had also half sucked up a cuddly toy from the cat and 1x 'hanged' the device on an extension cable on the floor, another time the device did not move forward on the carpet (while this went well at other times). These problems were indicated in the app and via a beep from the device itself. It's a shame if you're not at home, and expect the device to have cleaned properly when you get home.

We've had it for a little over a week now and I can honestly say I'm very positive. I was not able to install the vacuum cleaner immediately, but after trying several times I was able to connect the vacuum cleaner to the WiFi network. The accompanying app is clear and easy to use. Personally, I think it's a nice detail that you can see the route taken by the vacuum cleaner. The vacuum cleaner jammed a total of 2 times during the first two days, after that this has not happened again. The app also shows where it got stuck and what the message is exactly. At first it was difficult to find a place for the vacuum cleaner. In the description it is stated that the vacuum cleaner needs 1.5 meters on both sides of space. Unfortunately, we do not have such a place in our house. Still, the vacuum cleaner has no problems leaving and returning to the station. The 1,5 meters away is not a hard requirement as far as I'm concerned. Charging the vacuum cleaner takes a bit of time, but that's no problem at all. The first day it was on the charger overnight and we have never had a problem with it again. What particularly attracted us to this vacuum cleaner is the mop function that comes with it. With a large dog, which can have a lot of hair, and a one-year-old child, there are always some crumbs and hair on the floor. Unfortunately, this is the only function that is a bit disappointing in our opinion. The water reservoir is already half empty, so you actually have to refill it in between. However, this is not possible when you are not at home. In addition, the floor is not so clean that you never have to mop yourself again. However, we were aware that this vacuum cleaner would not replace mopping. We are very enthusiastic about vacuuming. The vacuum cleaner is busy vacuuming our house for more than 1.5 hours. The vacuum cleaner goes through the same room and over the same surface at least 3 times, so that there is no longer a dust or crumb to be found. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with this vacuum cleaner. We wouldn't recommend it for mopping, but it does replace the daily vacuuming, which saves us a lot of time!! All in all, highly recommended! We would definitely recommend this vacuum cleaner to all our friends!!
