Tefal NE6888 Meat Grinder HV8

Received the meat grinder yesterday and unpacked it immediately. What stands out is a robust, nice-looking device with many accessories and possibilities. You can store various accessories in the device, but many are not. Would have been useful if a storage bag was included. Taken the user manual to get to know the product, but unfortunately this booklet is very concise in the explanation and only with the summary drawings it is difficult to get out. This is where Tefal falls short. Where are those extensive user manuals from the past, almost every detail was described or treated in detail there. So discover the device yourself (which is also the intention). The machine comes with many accessories for preparing meat such as minced meat, making sausages, etc. But also accessories for preparing salads, grating, making slices of cucumbers. Tried to make cubes from an apple, which is very fine in structure. There is still apple pieces left, so the question is which products should this grater be used for. Then grate carrots with the fine grater and the slightly coarser grater. This works fine, especially the coarser grater. You get nice strings from this. Then cut a cucumber into slices. This also goes very well and very fast, but the sound this device produces is high. All in all, my 1st impression is positive. Soon we will try to make minced meat and sausage rolls. Will also be a journey of discovery! Meanwhile, minced meat made from Irish ribs and bacon. I also made sausage rolls from this minced meat. The grinding of the meat goes very well and quite quickly. There seems to be a kind of saturation. There appears to be a portion of meat around the knife. I had used the medium hole disc. The disc with the smallest holes is for making pate or Filet Americain. I have passed the mincemeat through the grinder twice and am very satisfied. Part of the minced meat further prepared for sausage rolls, well I can tell you that you don't get that in the store. Those are so tasty. The rest of the meat still needs to be processed. Cleaning is quite easy. Just processed the rest of the minced meat into meatballs. These are also really tastier than those with purchased minced meat. I have now also crushed the rusk with the meat grinder. That also went very well, normally you have some larger pieces by hand. Made spaghetti today with homemade minced meat and Grana Padano cheese. According to the manual, the suit with the largest holes would be suitable for this. The result was reasonable. Making frikandellen is also very good. Processing the meat (cutting) goes quite quickly. The other operations do take some time, but delicious frikandellen. The meat grinder is just great except for the sound and the user manual that is too short. But it is certainly an asset to the kitchen for those who would like to prepare something themselves.

This is an excellent machine for grinding meat at a household level.

Powerful device, bit expensive but well worth the price.
