Joby GripTight ONE Mount Black

I bought this attachment to film smartphone videos as stable as possible from a tripod. Mounting the attachment on a tripod is very easy due to the screw hole provided. In the video, the product is also recommended for handheld use, but I don't really see the point here. Once the attachment is mounted on the tripod, your smartphone is also ready for use fairly quickly. You slide the adjustable side up, slide your smartphone in, and the adjustable side slides back in. But here is actually everything that could care less about this product: your smartphone is never properly secured. If you are not incredibly careful when operating your smartphone, your smartphone will already shift relative to the product. You first make every effort to get your tripod, ball head and smartphone in the right position, but as soon as you briefly push your smartphone you can almost start all over again, because your entire composition is no longer good. Now, honestly I don't know if you can expect more for the price. In the photos and in the videos, it looked like a very sturdy product, and the name suggests it. But it's actually much more bendable than it should be for the product's purpose. I do use it every two days, but I still find it manageable. If you don't mind fiddling around a bit, then this product is highly recommended for this price. But if you are really looking for a very sturdy smartphone holder, then you have not come to the right place.

I bought the GripTight to be able to use my iPhone XS on an existing tripod (Manfrotto) where I also put my DSLR camera. The special adapter between tripod and DSLR fits perfectly on this GripTight, so that the iPhone can be used with this tripod. Even when tilting, so that the iPhone comes horizontal, the GripTight remains well connected. Operating the phone is then no problem, the phone does not fall out, it is super stable. So recommended if you want to work on your existing tripod with a smartphone!

attaching a camera or i-pad, that's gin,g already. But now I also bought such a small thing that also allows use of the smartphone. wonderful.
